New project SALUZ + NORMALINK

San Pedro de Mutilva Public School in Navarra already has Normalit circadian lighting and control through Normalink's platform.

Children need to be subject to healthy lighting, photobiological risk-free, with reduced flickering, adequate UGR and that makes it possible the synchronization with their biological rhythm. This will improve their attention span, their coordination, their mood…

Normagrup has supplied 101 600x600 Nassel Avant luminaires at San Pedro Public School in Mutilva (Navarra, Spain). This is a type of lighting with dynamic white control from the Normalink App and also through pushbuttons distributed all over the site.

Nassel Avant MUTILVA

The Nassel Avant luminaires are LED fittings made with a metal body and a plastic multi-reflector system that provide a uniform and comfortable lighting in the working area. The model chosen was the NX3TWB which is the SALUZ TUNABLE WHITE version within the Nassel family Avant.

CRI: 80.
Photobiological risk free (RG0 according to EN62471).
IP: 20-44.
UGR 16.
Consumption 28,5 W.

The Saluz® brand includes all those Normalit luminaires that incorporate elements that make it a healthy light:

Reproduction of the circadian cycle.
Controlled photobiological safety.
Non-harmful flickering.

Saluz® is a healthy lighting, inspired by the sun that adapts to our natural life rhythms and keeps us synchronized when we are not exposed to natural light.

Within Saluz® there are three versions available:

Self-contained.
Self-contained with regulator.
Tunable white compatible with Normalink.

As we have already mentioned, for this project we have used the TUNABLE WHITE version compatible with Normalink.

These are luminaires that allow the control of the dynamic white through the DALI line from the Normalink App (available for smartphones, tablets or computers with Windows). Thanks to Normagrup's control platform, it is possible to establish a personalized circadian cycle per classroom (possibility to define light spectrum and light intensity by hour schedule).

Ipad NORMALINK

The project has four button panels distributed throughout the various classrooms and integrated into the DALI line thanks to the INDG-P4P interface. These buttons have been linked to several actions:

Push button to activate the established circadian cycle.
Push button to regulate colour temperature on a specific circadian cycle.
Push button to regulate the intensity.
Push button to execute the "Nap" scene: Light at 2700 ºK and 10 % of light intensity.

The IDNG-MG master gateway rules all the installation running the different circadian cycles (up to 32) and managing the communications.
